Goodstart Early Learning East Ballina is a 90 place long day care centre. It is located in the lovely coastal town of Ballina on the Far North Coast of NSW.

We have five rooms: two Nursery rooms, one Toddlers room and two Preschool rooms.

The staff here are highly qualified, with qualifications ranging from Certificate III to Bachelor's Degrees. We have three university trained Early Childhood Teachers.

Hi my name is Maxine Smith. I am the Centre Director of Goodstart Early Learning Ballina.  I hold a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood and have been employed in the childcare industry since 2001. I have worked for Goodstart Early Learning since 2003.

I enjoy the role of Centre Director as it provides me daily interactions with our children, families, staff members and the local community.
