Parking We have a drive through driveway and two car parks available for those parents who would like to stay longer. If there are no parks free then parks are available on the side street.
Our centre has been operating for quite a few years and in July 2004 we were welcomed into the Goodstart family.  In March 2005 our centre underwent renovations giving us a new look.  We have a lot of staff that are long term and we are proud to have a low staff turnover. 

In July 2009 our centre went through Accreditation and received a high quality rating, the highest rating a centre can receive. 

We have five air-conditioned play rooms and are licenced for 75 children ranging from six weeks through to six years. 

We have three play yards - nursery has their own yard, Toddler and Junior Kindy rooms share a yard and Kindy and Preschool share the third yard.  The Toddler and Junior Kindy yards have two big gum trees offering the children natural shade on top of the sail shade cloths located in all yards.

All staff are qualified or studying their qualifications for the roles they are working in.  They all hold a current suitability card and first aid certificates.

My name is Zoe and I started working at Goodstart Early Learning Brinsmead in September 2003 as the Toddler Group Leader.  In March 2005 I became the Centre Director. 

I originally started working in childcare in Townsville in 1998 after studying my Diploma at the Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE.  I have since completed my Advanced Diploma in Children's Services.  I have a current first aid certificate and a current suitability card.  

The best part about my job is seeing the children grow, reaching all of their milestones, and knowing that we have played a part in this.  I am very lucky as I get to work closely with our families and have a strong relationship with all of them.
