Goodstart Early Learning Buderim is located in the picturesque suburb of Buderim just a short drive from Maroochydore, the heart of the Sunshine Coast.
The centre is located just off King Street, accessed by a discreet lane way and tucked away from the busy main road behind a row of local shops and businesses. This has given us an advantage for privacy and security. Parents also like the position and re-assurance of knowing their children are safe. The centre is located in very close proximity to public transport facilities and handy to a number of local schools, colleges, and the Sunshine Coast University. The Motorways and Bruce Highway are also easily accessed by the newly developed local linking roads. Being in Buderim we are elevated and are positioned in a prime, prestigious area of the Sunshine Coast.
The centre itself was once a popular motel and restaurant that was lovingly transformed into the centre it is today. The charm of the older style building reflects the history of Buderim and the strong local community bond.
The centre boasts four large fully air-conditioned rooms with bi-fold windows which allow fresh air ventilation. Our centre caters for children from six weeks to six years of age. The centre is well equipped, with a variety of age appropriate resources for all children, that challenge and further enhance all areas of their individual development.
The spacious playground is well-shaded by established trees and shade sails that offer an abundance of shade at any time of the day and is further enhanced by the quaint picnic tables located under the shade of the beautiful trees.
Please view our Centre Gallery photos to have a sneak preview of the fantastic educational rooms and beautiful playgrounds.
The centre staff are all qualified or doing further study to enhance their careers.
The staff are committed and passionate about their work and this is reflected in the warm bonds that are developed between the carers and children.
We are committed to education and community service, and offer students from the local high schools, TAFE and Universities practical work experience opportunities as part of their chosen early childhood education course.
We also provide a variety of challenging programs focusing on the Active Child, our LifeSmart Learning Program and the newly developed Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). In addition to this we provide regular opportunities in the Pre-school room to use computers to gain valuable skills required for use in our information technology world.
The centre also has licensed Children’s Shows visit the centre and planned experiences and events that further enhance our educational programs.
Our centre focus is on providing high quality care in a safe, warm and loving environment where children and families are respected for their individual needs. The centre is an extension of the home for many of our families who do not have family support in the area and we feel very privileged to be part of each and every child’s life.
