Goodstart Early Learning Deeragun is located about 20 minutes north of Townsville.  Situated in the semi rural area of Deeragun, it is an ideal, quiet area to bring up a family only minutes from the central business area.

There are two schools near the centre: St Anthony's Catholic College and the Bohlevale School. We provide a morning and afternoon bus service to both schools.

When you look at the photo gallery you will see that the children play in a huge backyard overlooking neighbouring bushland.

Our centre delivers a fun and exciting program that delivers educational, play-based learning experiences and enables children to build strong friendships and self-esteem.

We are one of the few centres in Townsville to support the new kindy pilot program for children between 3.5 and 5 years. This program is run by a qualified Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and is designed to support the children in readiness for prep.

As a family we enjoy coming together for many fun and exciting events such as our Easter Bonnet Parade, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Graduation and Christmas parties.  We have fun dressing up for Melbourne cup and Halloween, and support events such as Shave for a Cure, Give me Five for kids, Daffodil Day, Bandanna Day, Red Nose Day, and many more though out the year.

We are currently in the process of setting up a vegetable and fruit garden to enhance the children's knowledge of where fruit and vegetables come from. Each room will be adding their own special touch to the garden. We will be extending on their knowledge by adding recycling and disposing of our daily scraps into a compost bin which will then generate soil to go back into our garden. This way we can show the children the full cycle of a plant's life.

If you would like any more information about our centre please do not hesitate to call, email or visit us at our centre. We would be happy to show you and your precious child around. Hope to see you soon have a great day.
