Childcare Benefit and Childcare Rebate

Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment to help eligible families who use approved and registered child care, such as all ABC Centres. CCB payments help eligible families reduce their weekly payments. CCB together with the Child Care Rebate can also help make child care more affordable for ABC families. Hi, my name is Amanda Burgess and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Garran. I have my Diploma in Children's Services and completed the first year of my Bachelor of Teaching birth to five years.

I have a lot of experience working with children and families as I have been in the childcare industry for ten years. I've worked in all types of different communities including Defence and Aboriginal.

I really enjoy my role as a Centre Director and make my centre a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
