Goodstart Early Learning Little Mountain Central & Babyworld is located in the prestigious “Parklands Estate”. Just minutes drive from some of Caloundra’s most beautiful beaches; Moffat Beach, Currimundi and Dicky Beach. The centre is only minutes from two of the coast's most popular state schools and from Caloundra’s CBD. The centre has fantastic highway access ideal for families who commute north or south for work.
In 2008, our centre was the first purpose built Goodstart Early Learning centre on the Sunshine Coast. It comprises of two centres on the same site.
The Babyworld Centre caters for children from birth to three years. This centre has three individual rooms called Nursery One, Two and Three catering for different age groups. The centre cares for 28 children per day making us a nice and cosy centre for children to attend.
The Central centre caters for children from 15 months - school age. This centre has four individual rooms catering for different age groups up to six years. We cater for 73 children per day. The children love our fun filled educational programs and friends that they make here.
Both centres are full of bright colours from our children's artwork which is displayed all over both centres, providing self achievement to our children. The centres are fully equipped with age appropriate toys and utensils for them to explore and learn with.
Another feature of our centres is that we have reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the rooms and buildings which is great for those hot and cold months that we go through.
We have two fabulous playgrounds which are separated for the Baby World children and the Central children catering for the different needs of the age groups. The playgrounds consist of sandpits, playground equipment, bikes,trikes & scooters and forts for the children to climb and explore.
We provide care for school age children through Before and After School Care sessions, and provide a bus service that facilitates the needs of children going to and from school plus Vacation Care excursions.
Our centre staff are a team of friendly, dedicated and experienced professionals. The staff all hold current Blue Cards, First Aid and epi pen qualifications. All staff are focused on providing holistic learning and the highest quality care. Staff are continually upgrading their knowledge of early childhood education through workshops and courses available from the centre and external education facilities.
Our Preschool program offers a qualified carer who holds a Bachelor in Language and the children are currently learning Italian. Our centres provides care for children with special and additional needs and has staff trained in supporting these needs. For example staff who can sign to assist children with hearing loss.
Our centres provides the children with a variety of Educational Programs, including The LifeSmart Learning Program, Smart Active Child, BroadLearn and Letter Land programs ensuring we provide a holistic approach to the early education of children enrolled in our service.
For those attending our service we aim and believe, to have all of the children enjoy their time here in the centres and develop their skills through play in preparation for school.
We are family focused and the staff are dedicated to providing meaningful and lasting relationships with our families to ensure their experience with us is leaves positive and fond memories of their time in our care.
