Goodstart Early Learning Morwell is a purpose built centre that was designed for the comfort and safety of children. We cater for the needs of up to 65 children each day. We have four separate rooms to accommodate for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. 

We offer a Nursery 1 room, that caters for children up to 15 months which has a separate sleep room.

In all rooms we use age as a guide only, children are placed into the room that best suits their developmental ability. 

We feel extremely proud to be able offer the community a clean and inviting setting that offers a stimulating and developmentally appropriate program using the Early Years frameworks.   The program meets the individual needs of each child's development stage.

As well as a qualified chef Pauline Azzopardi to prepare fresh nutritional meals our centre boasts large outdoor spaces, a parent lounge, friendly trained staff in children’s services and first aid and our very special centre pet Tinkerbell. 

Throughout  the year Goodstart Early Learning Morwell often have planned visits from fire station, dentists, farm visits and pet safety. At the end of the year we have our kinder children graduation  and they receive a certificate. We also have a children's Christmas party were all families are welcome to attend.

We welcome all families to participate within the centre and various events held through out the year(please check our calendar of events). We also invite all families to attend the centre through out the day of our open hours to become involved with the children and staff.

Hi my name is Simone Gillett and I feel proud to introduce myself as the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning  Morwell. I have lived in the Latrobe Valley for over 35 years over time I have enjoyed working within the childcare services. 

I have over 20 years experience in a range of childcare services. I studied at the Australian Nanny School and then became employed as a nanny on the Peninsula. I began working in long daycare and also family daycare before studying my Certificate 3 with Niece and then my Diploma in Children Services with Yallourn Tafe.

I look forward to continuing to provide high quality care here at Goodstart Early Learning Morwell, through ensuring all children, their families and the community feeling that they belong.

My philosophy is children learn through play and part of that play involves using recycled and natural materials that encourage connection with the environment, a safe and secure place to encourage play and form friendships.

I am privileged to say the carers here at Goodstart Early Learning Morwell are a great team of professionals with a wonderful caring attitude towards children and families. Our carers nurtures each individual child's stages of development.
