Goodstart Early Learning Nollamara is located amongst a great range of public recreation areas and reserves, and is centrally located near the local Primary schools.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, family orientated centre, focused on providing a warm, loving and inviting environment for all of our children and families. We endeavour to ensure children are being encouraged to learn new skills and strengthen abilities through weekly programmed activities.

Through group and individual observations we are able to track each child's development and tailor our programming accordingly.Mealtimes within our centre are treated as a social event, allowing children to explore a variety of skills including turn taking and social interactions.

Carers use this opportunity to educate the children on healthy eating habits, while role modelling appropriate behaviours and self help skills. We will always endeavour to cater for families with special dietary needs such as food intolerances and Halal meat.

Being a multicultural centre we also try to include as many different celebrations and festivals as possible, such as Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Holi, Wasak and Jewish Passover. We incorporate these events into our program through age appropriate activities such as art and craft.

Our families are always encouraged to take part in special events and daily centre life. We have an 'Open Door Policy' where we invite parents to spend time in the centre during the day. We believe this helps the children to settle into our environment, and form strong and lasting relationships with carers and other children.

Jacenta Booth
Centre Director
Hello my name is Jacenta Booth and I am the Director of Goodstart Early Learning Nollamara.

I have 10 years experience in the childcare industry and in this time have gained an abundance of knowledge and experience working with children. As a mother and an early educator, I believe that it is important to treat all children equally and with love and respect.

We provide a program that teaches children to communicate, share and co-operate with peers and adults. We teach our children to accept people's differences, in preparation for their future roles in a multicultural society.

I aim to provide an educational program that is fun and exiting, but at the same time challenging and stimulating.
