Our people

We’re all passionate about early learning. Everything we do is for the benefit of the children in our care, because children are at the centre of everything we do. Our qualified staff know that the best early learning happens in environments where children feel safe, loved and protected. This requires a place where children are nurtured and their minds stimulated.

    Qualifications and training

Goodstart centre staff are offered regular opportunities for professional learning and development. Under the National Quality Framework, all centre staff (with the exception of our dedicated cooks and administration personnel) are required to hold, or be studying towards, a Certificate III in Children’s Services.

Room Leaders must have achieved a minimum of a Diploma in Children’s Services, while each centre will also need to have Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers by 2014.

Goodstart has its own training college offering vocational education training and a variety of other professional development courses. It’s our staff who make our organisation great and do their best for your children, so we support them to become the best early learning professionals they can be.
