Goodstart Training College

    The Goodstart Training College is a registered training organisation offering programmes and courses to Goodstart staff. The college works with other parts of the organisation to ensure our staff have quality education, training and professional development opportunities. Courses on offer include:
    • Certificate III in Children’s Services
    • Diploma in Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care)
    • Bridging courses for staff wanting to raise their skills and gain a diploma qualification.
    • Advanced Diploma of Children Services
    • Certificate IV in Frontline Management
    • Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Management
    • Courses to support the implementation of the National Quality Framework.
    • Health, food, and hygiene courses to support cooks and other centre staff.
     
    Employer-funded training is available to students who are permanent Goodstart staff members. These courses are flexible so students can continue full work time while studying.

    Some students may also be eligible for recognition of prior learning, which can assist them with competing their qualification. Trainers/Assessors and Student Support Officers are always here to offer support and guidance.
