Goodstart Alfredton

Alfredton Goodstart is a fun engaging centre, which enables children to grow at their own pace. Encouraging fun and supportive relationships with children and Educators. We love to think we are innovative, looking outside the box to provide the best possible service we can. We are always looking at new ways to develop our service to be the best it can be. We believe in play-based learning, looking at how children develop interests and engage in their environment. Programming for areas that they’re interested in and wanting to explore. 

Our educational program aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework, offering a variety of experiences including art, music and physical activities. We also offer an accredited Kindergarten Program that prepares our children for the transition into school. 

Our centre practices the Key Educator approach. We believe it is important for children and families to have secure, supported and reciprocal relationships with educators. Key Educator Relationships are based around an attachment theory and are supported by trust and respect. 

Our Storypark platform enables educators to share daily updates about children’s learning and development.  Allowing us open and clear communication with families.

Outside, we have play spaces all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment. Our play areas have sandpits, vegetable gardens, climbing equipment and dramatic play spaces as well as shade all year around.

At Alfredton Goodstart we provide all meals including an array of seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, all meals are prepared for us by our cook.  We offer breakfast for all children here before 8am.
