About our centre

Goodstart Early Learning Beaudesert Brisbane Street is located in the quieter part of town just past the local swimming pool. At our child care centre, we actively embrace the relaxed and slower paced lifestyle of the rural community in which we are situated.

Our centre works closely with the community and has several well established partnerships.
At Goodstart Beaudesert Brisbane Street, our educators and teachers pride themselves on delivering fun, educational experiences for all of our children, each and every day. Our programs are all based on national standard early educational concepts and are delivered in a non-biased way.

Centre Director

Hi, my name is Jo, and I am the new Centre Director at Goodstart Beaudesert Brisbane Street.

I have worked in the Early Childhood and Education sector for the past 25yrs and during this time I have worked with all ages and in all positions and support roles.

I first started in Early Education in 1997 when my son was 1yr old. I used to stay and volunteer my time, but I was there so much the centre offered me a traineeship to do my Cert III and from there I have moved from different roles and positions and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

I believe that children are our future, and all children are individuals and need different levels of support to build their self-confidence and to grow to their full potential. To do this, children need to feel safe and secure in a nurturing environment where they feel supported to explore their surroundings. Children have their own voices and by listening to the children, we as Educators are learning new things ourselves every day.

As a proud mother myself I believe in the importance of choosing the right Centre for your child. I believe the centre should be a home away from home for children and, in the importance of working side by side with parents and families as they are the children’s first teachers.
