Goodstart Bees Creek

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Bees Creek is located only a minute away from local shops in a rural setting consisting of natural bush land and native animals. We are situated in an area that provides a variety of schools; these include public and private schools as well as middle schools.

We provide ongoing pick ups and drop offs to preschool by walking our children using the children’s crossing that the community has helped us to gain for road safety. 

At Goodstart Bees Creek we endeavour to create a “family like” atmosphere and recognise the importance of creating a link between home and the centre. We welcome all children, parents and community members to contribute input and feedback to the centre.

We implement a responsive program that allows opportunities for each child to play, explore, imagine, experiment, research and investigate in a fun, natural environment. We offer loose part materials including water, sand, dirt, clay, rocks, pebbles and wood to encourage the exploration of our natural environment both indoors and outdoors.

We view young children as active contributors to the community and the world around them, we believe children have a voice and we value empowering them to make decisions, choices and have their voice heard.  We believe that everyone is unique and should be allowed to share their views, experiences and traditions with others.  At Goodstart Bees Creek we provide an inviting nurturing and happy environment allowing children to have a positive attitude towards their learning.

Our policies and procedures are developed to guide and protect everyone who takes an active interest in our centre. Policies and procedures are regularly reviewed in consultation with our educator's, families and communities. Best practice is always applied within our centre. This is also reflected in the day to day of operation of our centre. 

Our Pedagogy educator guides all educators at Goodstart Bees Creek in understanding the foundation of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards. 

Colourful, stimulating surrounds - in rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. . We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

We welcome all parents and community members to contribute input and feedback to the centre; this allows our centre to always have ongoing improvements to enhance quality care for all children and families within our service.

That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
