About our centre

Goodstart Early Learning Campbelltown is tucked away in a convenient but quiet pocket of Campbelltown, only 20 minutes from the heart of Adelaide. We are close to schools, shops and community amenities and are easily accessible via public transport.

We have large outdoor areas as well as two unique indoor/outdoor zones where children can continue playing in the fresh air, regardless of the weather. Our play spaces focus on natural, sensory-based experiences with gardens, vegetable patches and mud kitchens.

We provide high quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Using the Early Years Learning Framework to guide our education program and scaffold children’s learning, our educators are passionate and committed to providing nurturing and simulating early learning environment. With a strong commitment and focus to create a warm and welcoming community focused centre, we look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.

A nutritional menu is offered at the centre each day, with our Centre Cook providing 4 meals per day - breakfast, morning tea, afternoon tea and late snack. Children also engage in cooking experiences as part of the educational program.

We have an open-door policy to infant feeding. Parents/caregivers are welcome to come in and bottle or breastfeed infants throughout the day.

Both of our children have been to Goodstart Campbelltown and they both love it! Our 3 year old has been going since she was a baby and she is now so excited to go that on the weekend she is disappointed not to be going. Our 6 year old is now at school but loves going in for pickup to say hello to the friendly staff. Mardi and the team are sensitive to all cultures and we are truly appreciative of all policies that have been put in place to protect our children from COVID and other issues that have arisen. The rooms are well equipped, the staff are so wonderful and the outdoor areas are absolutely amazing. We are regularly updated about our child's progress through Storypark and kept informed of any changes. We wouldn't send our kids anywhere else!

I initially overlooked this Centre due to not catering for lunch. I sent my child to a different centre where she was just one of a number, after they handed us back the wrong child at the end of the day I moved to Goodstart Campbelltown. They have been amazing. So flexible which was so very appreciated with relief teaching and changing jobs and Covid! And as for the lunch, it really wasn't that bad at all. Now I can pack something I know she will eat and they still provide great snacks in addition to whatever I send. On the odd occasion I have forgotten lunch they sort her out with a sandwich. I highly recommend this centre. The staff are lovely and they will go out of their way to work with you.

Goodstart Campbelltown Childcare Centre is well-managed. It is apparent that the top priority and focus of the Centre is the children's well-being and development. Centre Director

Hello, My name is Rachelle and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Campbelltown.

I am a Diploma qualified educator and have worked in various roles for Goodstart since 2011. I joined the Campbelltown Centre in 2022. I have a strong passion for the early years, children’s learning and development.

We are a child focused service that works in partnership with families, respecting children’s rights and proactively safeguarding children at our centre. We strengthen children’s development and wellbeing by creating secure, respectful relationships. We have a very strong focus on Key Educator Relationships and use our knowledge of The Circle of Security to ensure children feel supported. We recognise and respect the value of play in children’s learning and overall development focusing on processes and understanding.

I believe each child is an individual with their own interests, culture and needs. Children’s learning should extend on their ideas and voices as part of an inclusive program.

I look forward to getting to know you and your children, working together to support their learning.
