Goodstart Crestmead Third Avenue

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Crestmead Third Avenue  is located in a residential area, central to schools, shops and transport.

In our two buildings, we provide care for children aged 6 weeks up to 12 years old – with rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten.

All fully air conditioned, our rooms are set up in line with the Early Years’ Learning Framework curriculum. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Our separate playgrounds have a variety of resources, play equipment and materials for the children to use including sandpits, vege patch, worm farm, undercover areas and lots of shade. The playgrounds are safe and are fenced in with large natural spaces for the children to use to their imagination. This is all with an aim to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
 
We value communication between families and educators at Goodstart Crestmead Third Avenue. We see it as an important aspect and our team of experienced, dedicated and qualified educators work in partnership with families to cater for each child.

Qur intuitive Storypark platform, enables us to maintain consistent and clear communication with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements. This, along with face-to-face, phone, text messaging and emails, as well as our monthly newsletter, communication book and daily routine books for each child, means families are in the know about their child’s development.
 
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
