Goodstart Horsham

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Horsham is a 70 place child care centre located in the central part of town, close to all local amenities, transport, schools and shops. Our centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and offers a 4-year-old Kindergarten program 5 days a week.

All of our educators are qualified from Certificate 3 through to Bachelor qualified early childhood teachers. We provide safe and stimulating educational programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework, with a variety of experiences including literacy, science, art, music and physical activities. Our programs build strong foundations and positive futures for all children.

Our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
 
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
 
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, digging patches, pergola, vege patches, worm farm and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
 
We also provide a nutritional menu which caters to all children's dietary needs. At our centre we provide all meals, cow’s milk, nappies, sunscreen and linen to cater for the children throughout the day.

We encourage families and members of the community to contribute to our centre in order to provide our children with experiences and specialised knowledge. We believe that partnerships with families and children are vital in order to form strong bonds and nurturing relationships. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
