Goodstart New Lambton

Goodstart Early Learning New Lambton is located in a convenient and quiet residential area, close to local shops, schools and community amenities. We are five minutes’ drive from The John Hunter Hospital, 10 minutes’ drive from Newcastle CBD, and in walking distance to local primary schools.

We create programs for children daily, and use the Early Years Learning Framework as a foundation for our program. We take into account our children and families culture, interests, needs and abilities, and tailor our program to meet the individual needs within our centre. The centre philosophy is based on our belief that children learn through play, and “RESPECT for others” is a key foundation of our philosophy. 
 
Educators at Goodstart New Lambton encourage family input and feedback into our service and strive to develop strong partnerships with our children and families through the implementation of the key educator approach. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, also enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. 

Outside we have three wonderful areas for the children to play and use their imagination, with sandpits, a courtyard, vege patches, fairy garden, compost area, dirt pits and a balance of natural and manmade play environments.

We also have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals for the children when tummies start to growl.
 
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity. We also participate in many community events such as excursions to the local schools and library.
