About our centre

Here at Goodstart Camira, we truly appreciate and embrace the cultural richness of our community and see families as our strong allies. We honour the histories, cultures and languages of each and every family, so we can better understand and support children in our care and community.

We understand the importance of play-based learning and we engage children in numerous ways to reach their full potential through diverse programs including Kindergarten.

We continue to strive for a safe, nurturing and inspiring environments which enable children to explore, discover, imagine and create long lasting memories. Our service is well-equipped and resources are regularly updated.

Our team of educators consists of passionate, engaged and unique Early Childhood professionals who are enthusiastic, focused and committed to providing high quality care for our families and children. With many long-standing educators at our centre, we provide consistency for children and families.

Ashley Stewart

Centre Director

Hi ! I'm Ashley the centre director of Goodstart Camira.

I have worked in the ECEC sector for 19 years and as a centre director for about half of this time and worked for Goodstart for 12 years.

My passion is to advocate for children, with being a foster carer myself and a Mum of a child with additional needs I understand that all children have their own unique and individual needs that need to be met.

I have undertaken many professional development courses around inclusion, trauma and brain development just to name a few.

I would love to be able to show you our amazing centre and team so please feel free to reach out and organise a time that will suit you.
