What happens with feeding babies?

It’s important for your child’s comfort that their routines are followed while in our care, so please provide us with directions in relation to their dietary requirements and feeding schedules when your child starts with us. It is also important to make sure you update this information as your child’s routines and needs change.

Please provide expressed breast milk, other milk, tetra-packed formula or pre– boiled water and pre–measured formula for your child, in ready–to–use bottles or sippy cups clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Feeding times are an important opportunity for our educators to strengthen their bond with your child, so they maintain eye contact, talk softly and smile while holding infants closely in the cradle hold. When infants are able to hold their own bottles, we help them develop their skills by providing them with the opportunity to feed themselves under direct supervision.
