What should my child wear to the centre?
At Goodstart, our programs are all about active learning and creative play, so make sure your child wears clothing that's comfortable and won't be spoilt by paint, clay, dirt, glue and other sometimes messy materials. While we do provide art aprons to help protect their clothing, not all children choose to wear them.
Here are some tips that will help your child dress safely for the wide range of activities they engage in at their Goodstart centre:
Avoid wearing any jewellery that may pose a risk of choking or strangulation, such as beads or necklaces.
Always wear a sun-safe hat and clothing to protect their skin when we play outdoors.

Pack additional warm clothing during colder months for outdoor play.
Pack at least one-complete change of clothes each day. If your child is moving from nappies to using the toilet, several changes will help ensure they feel comfortable and confident throughout their day.
Make sure your child's shoes are suitable for play activities including running, jumping and climbing.
