High quality early learning can have a transformative effect on the lives of young children.
In a lot of cases it can be the difference between a child starting school in good shape, or starting behind their peers and struggling with a developmental vulnerability which is sadly a reality for 20% of Australian children.
We passionately believe in early learning as an opportunity to build a better Australia. This is backed not only by our vision, but also by evidence which shows the long term impact that high quality early learning experiences have on children.
To make this a reality, we reinvest heavily in the quality of our people and our centres to ensure children get the very best opportunities to grow.
Importantly, we also need to raise a national conversation about the importance and value of early learning, moving the discussion from early learning centres being perceived as child-minding services to one where they are correctly viewed as rich learning environments in which children thrive.
To help kick start the conversation, we decided to invite some real Australian mums to a panel discussion to talk about their challenges and experiences with early learning.
