Goodstart Early Learning’s approach to the Coronavirus Issue – January 30

Goodstart Early Learning is closely monitoring the advice provided by the Australian health authorities regarding the Novel Coronavirus.

Our 665 Centres across Australia are taking a conservative approach as the health authorities have said that they are unsure about how the virus is spread.

As a result, Goodstart Early Learning Centres are:
  • Excluding any person (team member or child) who has returned from China since January 17, or who has been in direct contact with a person with a confirmed case of Coronavirus
  • Monitoring the health and welfare of all families and Goodstart team members
  • Reminding families and our Goodstart team about the increased importance of good hygiene, especially frequent handwashing and covering coughs and sneezes
  • Working to support the children, families and team members who are being impacted by the exclusion advice
We are providing regular updates to our Centre Directors and educators and our families in line with the advice from health authorities.
