About Goodstart Carlisle
Goodstart Early Learning Carlisle is located on the corner of Archer Street and Rutland Avenue, within walking distance of the Carlisle train station.
Our service offers education and care to children aged from six weeks to six years. Families and educators at our centre come from a variety of different cultures, and we celebrate and embrace this diversity.
We are proud to provide high quality learning and care, and our team of educators work together to provide our families with a fun, safe, stimulating and welcoming environment. All educators are trained in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
, and we incorporate the EYLF philosophy of Belonging, Being and Becoming into our daily programs.
Inside, the rooms are all set up with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
We use Storypark to share your child's learning. This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Carlisle and what happens at home. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We celebrate events such as Christmas, Easter, and a wide range of cultural events from around the world, and invite families to attend and enjoy these events with us. Our centre has an open door policy and we encourage family participation.
We would love to meet you, so please book a tour
at a convenient time so we can discuss how we can support your child on their early learning journey.
