About our centre

Goodstart Paralowie Byron Bay Drive is in a growing suburb within the Northern area located between Mawson Lakes and Salisbury. We are situated alongside Bethany Christian School and Temple Christian College where we have a strong relationship with students and teachers from both schools who visit the centre for child studies, performance opportunities and have painted our outdoor murals. We also support transition to Bethany for those families who enrol their children in this school.

Our educators are committed to providing a friendly supportive atmosphere with a focus on working collaboratively with families. Educators value inclusion for all children who attend our centre and we have developed strong relationships with support agencies to ensure best outcomes for all children.

We now have two Early Childhood Teachers, one preparing the children for the transition into the Preschool room, while the other implements our Preschool program. We also have an Educational Leader who ensures the educators are supported with documentation to ensure the centre meets the requirements set by the Department of Education.

We offer a Preschool program which is run by our Early Childhood Teacher which enables our 4 year olds to participate in a learning program to develop and support the skills required to successfully transition to school. This program is supported by funding from the Universal Access program which enables the children to have incursions at the centre.

Our beautiful nature based outdoor spaces include a water fountain, ample undercover sandpit and dry creek beds.

My name is Amy and I'm the Centre Director at Goodstart Paralowie – Byron Bay Drive.

I live locally with my husband and 2 children, both attending schools in the area.

I began my early learning career with Goodstart in 2003 and have worked in many roles during this time.
I’m passionate about early learning and supporting children with their development in the younger years, assisting with school readiness and learning through play.

I love being part of a team and can’t wait to get to know the Paralowie Byron Bay Goodstart community.
