Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Bankstown is located residential / commercial area convenient to schools and shops – making the daily drop-off and pick-up a little less stressful!

The centre caters for up to 70 children per day aged between six weeks to six years.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.

This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

We have a large and bright playground which sparks the children's interest to enjoy and participate in various activities. The Nursery children have their own fenced off yard to keep them safe. We also have a natural area outside which is separate to our main yard. This area is used for environmental experiences including tree/seed planting and bug searching. It is a relaxing area for the children to have a different experience outside, away from the gross motor toys.

Hungry tummies are also catered for with children's meals provided throughout the day including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snake. We also offer halal meat.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

My name is Mary Joson, and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Bankstown.

I have been part of Goodstart since 2019, and I truly enjoy working for an organisation that is committed to high-quality early learning and supporting families in the community.

My journey began as a part-time educator, and over the years I have had the opportunity to grow through a variety of roles within the centre. This experience has given me a strong understanding of early childhood education and has shaped my passion for leading and supporting a team.

I feel proud to now lead the Bankstown centre, working alongside a dedicated and long-standing team of educators. I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, families feel connected, and educators feel supported.

I believe in the importance of play-based learning and building strong relationships, and I am committed to ensuring every child has the best possible start in their early learning journey.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
