Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Belgrave Heights is a purpose-built centre in a residential area, close to local schools, shops and community amenities.
We have four rooms for Babies, Toddlers, Pre Kinder and Kinder children and we are licensed to hold 60 children. All of our staff hold childcare qualifications. We pride ourselves on being a warm and friendly inviting centre where every family is welcome. The children are provided with nutritional meals each day that are prepared at the centre.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have three areas all with age-appropriate play spaces and equipment. Our playground areas are large with lots of activities to explore. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful nature and gum trees. Our Kinder yard has an amazing three-tier split level deck which the children all love to play on.
We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
Our families are very involved in the centre and love to join us in special days such as Mother's and Father's day morning tea's, Grandparent's morning tea's and our fantastic Christmas party at the end of the year.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have dedicated the past 16 years to supporting children and families across a variety of communities and suburbs. Throughout my career, I have worked with children of all ages, with a particular passion and extensive experience in supporting infants and toddlers aged 0–2 years.
I believe that every child has the right to feel safe, nurtured, respected, and supported in their learning journey. My goal is to create a secure environment where children can excel and reach their highest potential. By valuing each child’s identity, culture, individual strengths, and interests, I help foster a strong sense of belonging, build confidence and wellbeing, and inspire enthusiasm for learning.
I am passionate about providing children with the strong foundations and stepping stones they need to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning from a young age. Building genuine connections with children, families, and the colleagues I work alongside is at the heart of everything I do. Creating trusting relationships and working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for every child is always my top priority.
When I’m not at the centre, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, creating special memories together. I also love baking and enjoy sharing homemade treats with those around me.
