Parking There are ten car spots in the centre for parent parking. You can also park on Craig Street.
The centre is a purpose built facility around 12 years old. It is 60 place centre split into four rooms.  

The extra curricular activities we provide to the children are Hee Dee Ho Music, Jump for Joy, Possum Potters pottery class and a general practitioner who visits the centre every Wednesday. 

The early educators at the centre are all qualified, dedicated teachers who have worked here between two and ten years. They have many memories to share and represent themselves as a big warm family who love caring for and educating children. We treat this centre as our home and take pride in what we do.

Hello my name is Tanya and I have been working in childcare for ten years. Nine of those years have been spent at Goodstart Early Learning Blackburn South. I began my career as an assistant gaining experience while studying part time to achieve my Diploma in Children's Services. After completion I became a Room Leader working in all age groups over many years. I am now the Centre Director and have been so for four years. 

I am enjoying this challenging role. Not only do I now care for and educate the children but I also have responsibility for the well being of the whole centre. I work with our families ensuring their needs are met, and teach alongside a group of talented staff. 

Throughout my time I have worked alongside four different owners/proprietors. This has been a challenging but rewarding experience as it has given me the opportunity to learn and teach in a variety of different scenarios. It has challenged my abilities to grow and strengthened me as a leader in the role of Centre Director.

I love working in this field. It is such a rewarding job educating all the little people with amazing personalities that bring laughter and smiles to your face everyday!  What more could you ask for?
