Goodstart Bracken Ridge

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Bracken Ridge has been a long standing service in the local community with easy access to all roads leading north and south via the freeway, as well as easy access to Strathpine with bus and rail links to the city. We are also close to the local TAFE as well as schools and shops.

Our centre is air conditioned, with large separate playgrounds for different age groups and a water feature play area. 

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have sandpits, digging patches, cubby house, a gazebo with stage, swings, a vege patch, worm farm, slippery slides, seesaw and forts for the children to explore and test their imaginatins.

Community is also important to us and through visits to various venues including our local library and resthomes, along with participation in events and activities throughout the year, we are able to enrich our children’s learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

Our educators and families also support charities such as SIDS Foundation, Bravehearts and the Cancer Council through special fun days to support members of our local community. We also celebrate important special events such as Mother’s and Father’s Day with children performances.
