Goodstart Early Learning East Bunbury is centrally located 1.5km from the CBD of the City of Bunbury with Cooinda Primary School directly across the road.

Our centre boasts cultures from all across the globe - Zimbabwe, Lithuania, Ireland, China, Pakistan, Russia, New Zealand and Indonesia - just to name a few. We love to showcase the fantastic learning experiences we gain from such a diverse community background. And that is how we like to refer to ourselves - The Community of Goodstart Early Learning East Bunbury.

Our carers promote cultural learning through our daily program. We love to learn words in foreign languages, create delicious cuisines from across the globe, experience music and instruments like we have never heard before and celebrate special days from other nations.

Our focus is on children learning through enjoyment. We believe play is the best way to learn.

Hi, my name is Mel Baker and I am the Director at Goodstart Early Learning East Bunbury. I have been in childcare for the past five years and have predominatly worked for Goodstart Early Learning in both Victoria and the South West. 

I have a daughter who is six years old, three dogs and two rabbits and would love the opportunity foster children one day.

I feel my role is to encourage, support, guide and work closely with families and staff to ensure outstanding care and education is being provided to our precious children. I believe all children have a right to be heard and deserve access to a community of people who shape their lives.
