Goodstart Early Learning Maida Vale is a purpose built centre which was opened in 2005. It is located at the foot of the Kalamunda Hill.

Our rooms are filled with fun and exciting experiences for the children to engage in throughout the day. Each room is bright and colourful with stimulating, educational toys and equipment to play with.

Our warm and friendly staff have many years of experience behind them and are always willing to learn more through training sessions and training days. Most staff hold a Diploma of Children's Services or Certificate III in Children's Services.

All staff who are employed at the centre have a Working with Children Check.Kinda Dance (external program) visit the centre once a week. This program teaches the children dance and movement through music.

Hi, my name is Ellen Brown and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Maida Vale. I have been working in child care for the last ten years. I first started in child care working with before and after school care children.

After graduating from Kalamunda Senior High School I became a full time assistant at the centre. I was the Assistant Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Kalamunda for 18 months before moving into the Centre Director role in November 2009. I completed my Diploma in Children's Services in 2003. 

I strive to make this centre safe and secure for all children, parents, staff and visitors. We have a very inviting atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff always ready to give a helping hand.

I believe that our first and foremost priority is the children in our care. I love seeing the children enjoying their successes and being surrounded by happy faces every day. I also feel lucky and privileged to work with such happy and brilliant staff who are as committed to the children in their care as I am.
