About our centre

At Goodstart Early Learning Moonee Ponds we offer an individualized educational program for each child based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

We offer nutritionally balanced home cooked meals which include breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals provided are based on nutritional value, allergies and individual needs.

Our child care centre provides nappies for the younger children and all children are provided with fresh linen for rest time, sunscreen for outdoor play.

We have a very large and inviting outdoor area that accommodates all seasons. Our rooms are adjoined to an undercover area and also our large open outdoor area. This offers children a chance to explore and learn.

We offer 2 years of kinder. That's two years of continued high-quality early learning, playing and making friends. Everything your child needs to feel ready for school.

We encourage family participation in our program. We also offer unlimited orientation time to help families and children transition smoothly into care. Come in and have a look at what we have to offer.

Hello!

My name is Peta, I'm the Centre Director At Goodstart Early Learning Moonee Ponds.

A little about myself

I have been working in the industry for just over 11 years. I have worked across numerous age groups, as an assistant and room leader. I then transferred to Goodstart Early Learning Richmond where I was the Assistant Director and am now the Centre Director and Moonee Ponds.

I am extremely passionate about my job.

Why I love Early learning

I love working with children and believe all children deserve the best in life, I love being able to work with children and help them achieve their goals and development areas as the first 5 years of their lives are the most important.

I enjoy being able to provide engaging and stimulating spaces for the children where they can feel free to express themselves.

I build strong relationships with both families and children, children thrive when they feel safe and secure and I believe that’s really important having those relationships with them.

I come from a Greek background and was raised in Australia, so I love to bring cultural awareness to our centre, I enjoy being able to celebrate all cultural celebrations and have everyone involved in cultural diversity as I find this important.
