In our rooms, staff make a real effort to get down to the children's level. This way they're better equipped to understand and cater for the needs of the children. Staff treat our children with respect, kindness and encouragement.
Our staff aim to act as role models for the children, modelling positive behaviour and attitudes. Forming trusting relationships with families is part of this - we truly believe open communication and mutual respect is vital to a successful centre, and ultimately, to happy children. We provide a daily diary to parents so that they can see what their child got up to during the day.
Or team work very closely together to create an environment that is friendly, warm and stimulating. We place a high value on one another's abilities and make decisions as a group.
Bonny Baldwinson
Centre Director
My name is Bonny and I have been working in childcare for over five years. I graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University with a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education.
I believe that building a positive partnership with our children, parents, friends and families is an integral part of running this centre. It is my job to reassure parents that their child is in a safe, harmonious, warm, and vibrant anti-bias environment.
I pride myself on the quality and experiences we provide for our children, and I ensure that I am meeting their needs within a warm and secure environment.
