Our Pialba early learning centre provides a warm, inclusive environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration and meaningful relationships. Located on the Butchulla people's Country, our centre values connection to culture and community, including a strong relationship with Butchulla Elder Aunty Karen. With long-standing educators, large natural outdoor spaces and a welcoming multicultural community, children are supported to build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

• Long-standing educators: Our experienced team includes educators who have been part of the centre for up to 25 years, creating familiar, trusting relationships that help children feel secure and known.
• Connection to Butchulla culture: Our strong relationship with Butchulla Elder Aunty Karen helps children develop respect and understanding for Aboriginal culture, Country and community through authentic experiences.
• Large natural outdoor spaces: Children have room to move, explore, imagine and discover in generous outdoor environments designed to encourage active, nature-based learning.
• Child-led learning: Educators observe and respond to children's interests, ideas and emerging abilities, allowing each child to participate in experiences that are meaningful to them.
• Inclusive and multicultural: Families from a variety of cultural backgrounds are welcomed and celebrated, creating a diverse community where every child and family can feel they belong.
• Learning beyond the classroom: Experiences with Aunty Karen, First 5 Forever, the local library, dental and optometry professionals and Royal Fair West provide opportunities for children to connect learning with their wider community.
• A trusted local choice: Conveniently located on Boat Harbour Drive, close to the main shopping centre, hospital and local schools, the centre offers families accessible early learning and care from 6.45am to 6.45pm.

Every child brings their own interests, personality and way of learning, and our educators take the time to understand and nurture these individual qualities. Through play-based learning, children can make choices, develop friendships, explore their environment and build the skills they need for their next steps. Our educators work closely with families to create a consistent and supportive experience between home and the centre. We also provide opportunities for children to learn about their local community, culture and the world around them through engaging incursions and community connections. Our outdoor environment is continuing to evolve, with a new cubby house structure being introduced to create even more opportunities for imaginative and active play.
