We are a very dedicated team for supporting children and their learning, we have created a safe, peaceful, and natural environment that engages children's curiosity and sensory exploration.

We have welcoming learning environments for children that supports every child and their individual needs, together we can make these early years enriching, joyful and memorable. The team aim to build trusting and genuine relationships with each child and family, understanding every child's needs and we believe that strong, positive relationships, support children's confidence, independence.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.

This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, fort, garden beds, a bike track and plenty of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.

Welcome to Goodstart Archer Street- Shepparton, my name is Jacinta Griffith and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Archer Street- Shepparton. I have the honour of leading our multi- culture and diverse community here at Goodstart Archer Street- Shepparton, on the land of the Yorta Yorta people.

I have recently taken on the role of the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Archer Street- Shepparton. I have worked for Goodstart Early Learning 9 years' experience of working in Early Child Hood education, I am Diploma qualified and have a lot of experience in the Early Child Hood industry, advancing into leadership roles, being a room leader, Assistant Director and now Centre Director, I have a lot of passion in overseeing the educational program and the care for children at Goodstart Archer Street- Shepparton.

My Early Learning values-

I strongly believe that every child in early childhood education should be positive as it establishes their attitude for learning for their whole life. I believe that children should be nurtured, heard and welcomed into a safe and happy environment, families to feel welcomed and supported as their child starts on the learning journey at Goodstart Archer Street- Shepparton. My team to feel supported to continue to teach and nurture your child with their development and learning and to create a centre where everyone feels included, culturally safe, and valued. I am deeply passionate about creating an environment where every child can thrive and discover their unique potential, I am also committed to celebrating and acknowledging Yorta Yorta culture, ensuring children and families learn to respect and appreciate the rich traditions and history of the land we are on.

Goodstart Archer Street- Shepparton is very welcoming as it brings warmth, positivity every day, I am inspired by the care and nurturing that the team bring to care for every individual child. Families are encouraged to share their culture celebrations; we incorporate all aspects of children's learning into the educational program. I am very proud that we continue to explore and celebrate Yorta Yorta culture together as a community, helping children develop a strong sense of being, belonging and becoming, and respect for diversity.

When I’m not in the centre, you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends and the dogs down on the Murry River enjoying the sunshine, being outdoors, I enjoy a good market to!

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
