Goodstart Early Learning Townsville is conveniently located in Kirwan, opposite Willows shopping centre and close to both primary and high schools. Our service provides high quality care for children from six weeks to 5 years.

Goodstart Townsville’s dynamic, vibrant and inspiring program is designed by our experienced early learning educators. Goodstart’s program is based on the knowledge that children are natural learners, and that each child develops at their own pace. Unlike outdated programs of previous generations that expected all children to learn the same things at the same time, the Goodstart program is flexible, individual, and engaging. We aim to offer every child a rich and unique learning experience that will give them the best possible start in life.
 
Our team of early learning professionals at our service will engage your child in a range of activities to stimulate learning. By incorporating your child’s own interests and strengths into their daily program, along with the principles of the Early Years' Learning Framework, the team will encourage your child’s love of learning.

Each of our purposefully designed learning spaces are arranged to create opportunities for children to explore and learn at their own pace. We have three separate outdoor learning environments to be able to specifically cater to the variety of ages and developmental needs of individual children. These learning environments allow us to create opportunities for children to engage in age appropriate risky play supervised by our team of educators.

We have an onsite centre cook who provides fresh meals every day aligning our menu to the dietary requirements of our children and the nutritional guidelines. Our menu is created in collaboration with our children, families and educators. We incorporate special occasions, birthdays and regularly reflect and update our menu.

Community is important to us. We create opportunities for our children to be involved and learn about cultural events within the centre and our local community. We regularly invite members of our community in to share their knowledge and culture.
