Our warm and inclusive early learning centre is on Anderson Road just off the Bruce Highway, on Gimuy Country.

Nestled on a convenient corner, we offer a nurturing environment where community and connection are at the heart of everything we do.

With five vibrant rooms, spacious shaded play areas and a dedicated team of educators, we create a safe and inspiring space for children to thrive. Our environment encourages exploration and discovery at every opportunity, promoting essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, motor development, and socialisation, while fostering a love of learning.

At Goodstart Bayview Heights, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways. 
We prioritise:

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Goodstart Bayview Heights centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.

Chantel Twining

Centre Director

Hi, I’m Chantel the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Bayview Heights.

I became a part of the Goodstart Early Learning family in 2020 while at a newly built centre, in a new estate on the Sunshine Coast.

I am currently studying my Bachelor of Education and during my time in the early years sector, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across from Trainee, Educator, Room leader, Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader and Assistant Director across all ages which has given me the opportunity to gain experience across many areas of the business.

I believe that the first five years are the most important in a child’s life. My team and I pride ourselves in creating an inviting and stimulating environment at our centre and are committed to providing each child with the best possible start in life.

I am extremely passionate about making collaborative partnerships within our wider community as I believe this is an essential part of our children's learning self-awareness and confidence. I aim to provide a safe, nurturing, loving, and quality care environment to our community.

I am extremely approachable and have an open-door policy. Please do not hesitate to come and see me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting every one of our amazing families.
