It’s a pleasure to welcome you to our community. My journey has taken me across countries and cultures born in India, I spent 18 years in New Zealand before moving to Brisbane . Along the way, I’ve built over 18 years of experience in early childhood education, leadership, and regulatory practice. For me, early learning is about more than education it’s about building a strong sense of belonging for every child and family who walks through our doors.

I am a Registered Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, which has strengthened my commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. My professional journey has included roles as an educator, curriculum manager, and senior advisor. These experiences have shaped my leadership approach and deepened my understanding of what excellence looks like in early childhood education. I am particularly passionate about supporting educators to grow, building strong teams, and ensuring high standards in both practice and compliance.

I believe that children thrive when they feel safe, respected, and connected. Strong, genuine relationships form the foundation of everything we do. My focus is on creating inclusive, nurturing environments where every child is encouraged to explore, express themselves, and develop confidence. I value working in partnership with families and educators, knowing that collaboration is key to achieving the best outcomes for children.

Being part of the Goodstart Algester community is something I truly value. Every day brings opportunities to connect with families, celebrate diversity, and support children as they discover the world around them. Watching children develop friendships, build confidence, and engage in meaningful learning experiences is what motivates me every day.

At home, I am a parent to three children, including two teenagers, which certainly keeps life busy and full of learning moments. I am also a mindfulness coach, meditation guide, and breathwork facilitator. Supporting others to find calm and balance is something I deeply enjoy whether through structured practice or simple everyday moments of pause and reflection.

As Centre Director, I am committed to creating a welcoming, high-quality environment where every child feels valued and supported.

I believe in open communication, strong relationships with families, and working together to support each child’s unique journey. My goal is to ensure your child feels confident, secure, and excited to learn each day.
