Goodstart Early Learning Clayfield is a beautiful three room, open plan boutique centre with a supportive and high qualified team.

The centre was constructed in 1986. The owner/operator at the time was inspired by his own upbringing and designed the centre to reflects his childhood. It is modelled on the "Queenslander" style houses in the area. This is to assist with making the children feel like they are being cared for in a more home-like environment. The owner at the time had many memories of playing in the local "Kalinga" park.

My name is Emily Ross, and I’ve been with Goodstart Clayfield since 2017.

I began my journey here as a trainee and have advanced through various roles, including Educator, Assistant Director and now, as your Centre Director.

I am deeply passionate about ensuring high-quality care for children, and I believe that fostering a positive team culture is essential to achieving this goal.

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
