Parking details

Parking There is on-street parking at the front of the centre on Chapel street, as well as on adjoining streets.
Our centre is on the grounds of Marrickville Public School. We have a lovely, heritage building with high ceilings, lots of open space and two age appropriate outdoor playgrounds and a courtyard that we are able to use when the weather is wet.

Both our outdoor playgrounds have established trees, providing natural shade, along with shade sails, fixed equipment, sandpits and a variety of outdoor equipment.

Our centre staff come from many varied backgrounds and they bring with them a wealth of experience and dedication. Many of the staff are bi-lingual and incorporate their cultures into our educational programs.

We are open from 6am to 6pm, provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. We have a cook on the premises who prepares the meals on-site. Our menu is highly nutritious with the children enjoying a range of meals. If your child has any special dietary requirements, just let us know and we are able to catered for these.

The Primary School has OSHC and Vacation Care, for those of you who have school aged children as well.

CENTRE TOURS: Please phone and make a booking for a centre tour.

We look forward to finding out what you are looking for, and hope that we meet the needs of both your child and your family.
Nicole Tate
Centre Director
Hi there,

“I’m not sure if I’ve met you yet!”

I am Carmel Geromoschos-Sheil and am the new Centre Director for Goodstart Early Learning at Marrickville. I have 18 years of experience in both teaching and child care.

I have spent time both in Australia and the UK teaching and managing child care centres. I am a qualified Early Childhood teacher with experience with children from 6 weeks to 11 years. I have recently completed additional studies in the UK, working with children and families with special educational needs. This was an invaluable experience working with the families in my previous school.

I look forward to understanding how we can best meet the needs of your children. Children are the most precious people and we are here to support them and their families.

Please feel free to let me know how we are doing. I look forward to the chance to meet you all and work with your children.

To those of you I have met, thank you for the warm welcome!

I look forward to meeting you soon.
