Goodstart Mount Helen is a 120 place centre situated approximately 8km from the city centre on a service road. It is set in a bushland setting, with wonderful views from our playground of a lake and plenty of greenery.
We encourage families and members of the community to contribute to our centre events in order to provide our children with experiences and specialised knowledge.
Our staff are very professional and dedicated to providing high quality care and education for all of our children. Our program reflects the Early Years Learning Frameowrk and provides plenty of experiences to cater for all the needs of our children and the opportunity to extend on these skills through all areas of development. Our centre philosophy is incorporated into our daily program.

My name is Sue Lafranchi and I have worked in childcare for 14 years, three of those as Centre Director here at Mount Helen.
I gained my Diploma of Children's Services in 2005. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Centre Director, striving to create a welcoming, safe and secure environment for all of our families, children and staff.
I live in the country, and enjoy gardening, reading and playing with my grandchildren. I am married with four children and five grand daughters who I am immensely proud of.
