Connecting with Community on Quandamooka Country
Redlands Integrated Early Years Place hosts ‘Play Day on Quandamooka Country’ community celebration
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre North Lakes - Winn Street is located in a convenient spot close to local shops, schools and community amenities.
We offer a Government Accredited Kindergarten Program and Long Day Care facility for babies, toddlers and children preparing them for their transition into the school program, all in a first class centre with qualified, motivated educators who mostly live in the North Lakes Community.
We pride ourselves on our homely reception and comfortable facilities. Our well designed outdoor play space offers a variety of equipment, educational toys and fun experiences all in sunny areas with shade cover.
Spacious indoor rooms allow for the children to interact with one another as they are inspired to learn and investigate, also forming respectful relationships with peers and educators. Exciting and motivating activities are programmed that support the Early Years Learning Framework.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have two areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. With a fun and engaging offering of manmade and natural play areas, we offer a variety of experiences where the children can test their skills, challenge themselves and learn about the environment and the importance of sustainability at the same time.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We look forward to meeting and working with your family to provide a learning environment that offers your child the best possible start in life.

With more than 41 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, I bring a lifelong passion for nurturing children’s learning, wellbeing, and sense of belonging. I began my career in Canada before continuing my journey across New Zealand and Australia, working in Western Australia, Victoria, and Queensland. For over twenty years, I have proudly served as a Centre Director, and I am currently leading Goodstart North Lakes – Winn Street while Yogeeta enjoys maternity leave with her baby girl.
What inspires me most about early learning is the profound and lasting impact we have on children and their families. It is an incredible privilege to be a trusted source of comfort, joy, and guidance for children from all backgrounds and cultures. As a strong empath, advocate for children, and mother myself, my commitment to their wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do.
At Goodstart North Lakes – Winn Street, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child feels a genuine sense of belonging. Our dedicated team delivers high‑quality, play‑based learning experiences that nurture each child’s individuality, confidence, curiosity, and independence. We are a caring community where children are supported, valued, and encouraged to thrive every day.

At North Lakes - Winn Street, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
