Goodstart Rutherford

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Rutherford is located close to Rutherford Public School and the New England Highway – close to local shops and community facilities.

Our service caters for 75 children per day, we are proud to be an Inclusive service and provide care to families from various cultures and religions. All our Educators are currently qualified or are training for relevant Early Childhood Qualifications.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have sandpits, sensory paths, dirt pit, gardens, stepping stones, timber decking, veggie patches and a balance of natural and manmade play surfaces.

All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.

One of our strong points is our reputation within the community, our families are extremely happy with the service we provide that we are constantly receiving enquiries through recommendations. Being a long term member of the community and a company with an excellent reputation certainly makes the job easier.

We have developed strong relationships with families and have seen several siblings from various families attend. We have developed some strong links within the local community, through local Public and Catholic schools, Early Intervention Units, Local Library and various Government Health services.
