About our centre
Goodstart Gaven - Pacific Pines child care centre is part of the growing community of families at Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast. Our educators are local to the area and play an active part in surrounding schools and local charities.
We plan fun, educational activities daily, based on the children's individual interests. At Goodstart Gaven - Pacific Pines developmental programs are written by each of our experienced room leaders. All programs incorporate the Early Years Learning Framework and are designed to enhance each child's individual interests and development. Challenging and interesting age-appropriate experiences are offered for all children in all rooms.
Our centre playgrounds, facilities and rooms are set up to inspire learning across all areas of development in a holistic approach. We help the children feel secure and confident by ensuring they form meaningful relationships with their carers.
We invite new families to come and meet our team and join us in creating a safe and happy early childhood experience for your children now, and in years to come.

Centre Director
Hi, my name is Tameika Smith and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Gaven. I currently hold my Diploma of Children’s Services and I have been working in the childcare industry for 15 years.
I have two daughters of my own and I feel this has provided me with the ability to make decisions based from a personal and professional level. My goal as a Centre Director is to create a fun, safe and friendly learning environment for all children and educators.
I feel it is very important for our centre to be involved in the local community and look forward to working closely with community members, families and educators to offer each and every child a good start to life.
