At Goodstart Kyneton, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our early learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Goodstart Kyneton is a three room centre, catering for children from six weeks to five years of age. Each of our rooms has its own playground and a team of wonderful, dedicated staff. We pride ourselves on our warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
We offer educational programs specifically designed to engage children in a wide range of experiences within the early learning environment. These programs support and extend on children's current strengths, interests and abilities through individual and group observations. Our centre plays an important role in the lives of our families and we strive to ensure each family enjoys being a part of our centre.
Our centre has a strong focus on sustainability, and we maintain a recycling program where we utilise used materials (such as boxes) as part of our art and craft activities. We have incorporated a lot of nature activities into our learning programs to allow the children to learn about the environment.
We are actively involved in our local community through open days, presence at the weekend markets, and links with the local maternal child health centre.
We invite families to visit our centre and meet the team to discuss your child’s early learning and care needs.
My name is Kristy and I have led the Goodstart Kyneton team since 2009. I have over 20 years’ experience in the early learning industry, and over 8 years’ experience as a Director. I hold a Diploma of Community Services (Childcare).
I am truly passionate about helping young children grow and develop, and my favourite part of my job is being out on the floor with the children, promoting this learning. My centre is small and family-oriented, and gives me an opportunity to do something I love each day.
