Our Avocet Drive service is based near Mawson Lakes primary school, shopping centre and train station.
Discover our four rooms: a nursery for our babies, a room for toddlers, and two for preschool children.

Nine of our longstanding staff members have been with us for more than 10 years - two have been with us for 20! We also have two Bachelor-qualified preschool teachers to help your child get ready for school.
Our renovated centre is clean and welcoming. We've been around a while, but we're not afraid to try new things and are always up to date with best practices.
Check out our upgraded outdoor yard during your tour. We have two outdoor play areas: one for more adventurous children aged two plus, and another for younger children. This allows us to provide age-appropriate gross and fine motor experiences in a social setting so your child can gain the most out of learning through play.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

My child attended Goodstart Mawson Lakes Avocet Drive for 9 weeks (Kindy Group) just before she started school. She was a quiet child and had social anxiety and in 9 weeks time she was a different person --- Zero social anxiety and confident to do things on her own. I have been in the Early Childhood Sector for 10 years and have worked in all positions, working my way from a Certificate 3 educator, to becoming Centre Director.
