The information generated by the estimator is strictly to provide a general estimate about the possible effect of the proposed Child Care Subsidy. It does not constitute financial advice and should not be relied upon.
The hourly rate cap, annual cap and the lower income threshold (which are set by the Government and used in estimating the subsidy) will be increased by the CPI in July each year. Other income thresholds will also increase by the same dollar amount as the CPI increase to the lower income threshold. The estimated increases for July 2019 have been taken into account in this estimate.
Changes to the law, policy and your circumstances may mean that any Child Care Subsidy you actually become entitled in 2019-20 differs from the amount estimated.
