About Goodstart Browns Plains Redgum Drive
At Goodstart Early Learning Browns Plains Redgum Drive we provide a small, intimate learning environment, located directly opposite a school and close to shopping centres, transport and residential estates.
Our long standing team of educators provides high quality care and daily learning opportunities as part of the Early Years’ Learning Framework education program. A high number of our enrolments from year to year come from referrals from happy families in the local community.
Our centre is a dynamic, yet nurturing early learning environment providing care for children aged from 15 months to primary school age.
Our rooms are all set up with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. We have one spacious outdoor area with gardens, sandpit, swings, a fort, vege patch, compost bin, worm farm and lots of shade.
We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
As a team we provide a positive learning environment that nurtures all aspects of children's development, which respects each child as an individual.
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
Come in and say hello! We would love to welcome you and your family into our centre.
