Close community, nature, and family life for educators in Tasmania
Kadie Cunningham, Assistant Director of Goodstart Kings Meadows, moved back for a better life.
Goodstart Early Learning Caboolture – Smiths Road is proudly nestled alongside Tullawong State School, St Paul’s, and other valued community services, making us part of a vibrant local hub.
We welcome children aged six weeks to five years, offering care from 6am – 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Our dedicated team is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels loved, respected, understood, and inspired to learn. Each room is thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of every age group, ensuring children are engaged, challenged, and supported in meaningful ways.
Our beautiful outdoor spaces are a favourite with both children and educators, and we are always evolving our environments to reflect the changing needs, interests, and imaginations of our little learners.
As a community-focused centre, we love providing opportunities for children to explore beyond our doors. Our Kindergarten children regularly visit Tullawong State School prep classrooms as part of our prep readiness program, and we enjoy excursions to our local park, where we proudly serve as the official sustainability Guardians.
Guided by our Educational Leader, our team uses the Early Years Learning Framework alongside tools such as the Environmental Ratings Scales and Australian Early Development Census data to create tailored programs that nurture each child’s strengths and support their individual journey.
We would love to welcome you to our centre so you can experience the warmth, energy, and community spirit that make Caboolture – Smiths Road a second home for so many families.
I am deeply passionate about the first five years of a child’s life, recognising this period as the foundation for lifelong learning, wellbeing, and success. I believe in creating nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environments where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to explore and grow. With a strong focus on building positive relationships with families, children, and educators, I strive to ensure that every child’s early years are filled with meaningful experiences that foster curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning.
I am equally committed to empowering both educators and children to be advocates for their own learning. By encouraging educators to pursue professional growth and reflective practice, and by guiding children to use their voices, make choices, and engage in decision-making, I aim to build a culture of confidence, agency, and lifelong learning within our centre community.
Our service has been a long-standing part of the region, with many experienced educators who have been with us for years. This history provides a strong sense of stability, continuity, and trust for families, while also ensuring that children benefit from the deep knowledge, passion, and commitment of a well-established team.
Come and visit us today to see what sets us apart from the rest!
