About Goodstart Coorparoo Tiber Street
Goodstart Coorparoo on Tiber Street has a friendly and warm atmosphere created by a great group of educators and children. The purpose-built centre has a big yard with lots of trees and a natural feel. Our centre is located between Coorparoo and Norman Park station and near local schools, parks and football fields.
The child care centre has been running since 2000 and during this time we have built strong connections with local schools and businesses and many families have returned to us with their third or fourth child. This demonstrates the confidence they have in our centre to educate their children.
Our educators work alongside the Early Years Learning Framework and national quality standards to provide educational programs for the children in their care. The Educators are qualified or working towards qualifications and all Educator’s hold their first aid and CPR certificates.
Our educators cater for individual and group experiences where your child is always learning through play. We have received a meeting in the national quality standard rating for the services and programs we deliver within our centre.
Our centre offers Storypark an online documentation platform and digital Kiosk for attendance register.
We have an open door policy and invite parents to come in any time. We encourage families to pop in any time to be involved in our programmed experiences and routines.
Our centre vision:
We aim to fill each individual child’s emotional cup with secure relationships.

Dorothy Dawid Centre Director
Hi, my name is Dorothy and I’m the Centre Director at Goodstart, Coorparoo Tiber Street.
I have been working in various long day centres, as a Director for the last 25 years. I hold a Master’s Degree of Education, specialising in early childhood teaching awarded by the Teacher’s College of advanced education in Poland.
Families are the children’s first educators and support children’s learning in so many ways.
I believe that building positive relationships with families and educators as well a connecting with the community, promotes reciprocal and genuine partnership, and child’s learning is optimised.
We, as educators, find ways to understand each family’s values and beliefs, in order to provide the best possible environment for your child.
