About Goodstart Cranbrook
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Cranbrook is located in a quiet but convenient residential area, close to schools, shops and community facilities.
We have a great warm friendly environment which is like a home away from home.
We are a large double centre catering for 102 children. All educators are qualified or studying towards their qualifications, we pride ourselves on our dedication to the children and their families. We also offer before and after school care (up to 12 years old) and we have a very fun and exciting vacation care over the school holidays each year.
Our rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment - including a cubby house, sandpit, swings, verandahs, vege patches, slides, gardens and natural and manmade play surfaces. We enjoy teaching your children to learn and discover through the opportunities we provide and promote. We recently adopted some centre ‘pets’ that the children are responsible for on a daily basis which is teaching them the importance of having respect for creatures big and small.
At Goodstart Cranbrook we like to work closely alongside you, the families, to ensure we are delivering the highest quality of care to your children at all times. We are regularly updating our resources and equipment and we pride ourselves on maintaining our well-presented centres.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity. We try hard to engage with the local communities and have successfully achieved this in a range of different ways including a recent ‘art work display’ for book week held at the Thuringowa Library.
Come in and see for yourself how we can help give your child the best start in life – and give you peace of mind! We would love the chance to show you around.
